Until February 7, The Poutine Week 2018 reaches its peak in Quebec and our 4 restaurants of the city participate with "La Cornichonne", a poutine combining the good taste of a smoked meat with a classic poutine!
From the first bite, you can see for yourself : the marriage between these two dishes is felt in every detail! First, its small potatoes breaded in rye flour recall the taste of the traditional sliced bread found in a smoked meat sandwich, and the same goes for its smoked meatballs. As for the cheese? We wouldn't dare to change the traditional "skouik-skouik" for another variant, since it’s an emblematic component of the traditional poutine appreciated by all!
In terms of garnishes, its mustard sauce has no choice but to remind of the condiment found in these famous sandwiches, not to mention the cabbage salad that garnishes it! To top it off, pickle fries are the ultimate reference to its accompaniment of choice, in addition to being a culinary favourite guaranteed for all vinegary taste lovers!
This creation will be available for as little as $10 until February 7 in the 4 SHAKER of the greater Quebec City area (Ste-Foy, Cap-Rouge, Lévis and Charlesbourg), but will also be offered at SHAKER St-Georges. Hurry to try it!
